There are several possibilities:
1) Make sure that your LIU credentials are in good standing. For students, check if your MyLIU account works properly. For faculty and staff, please make sure that your LIU email account is working.
2) To access databases and other e-resources remotely, for students, your login is first.last (before @). For faculty and staff, it's your email login. Please check the appropriate radio button, such as "Students of LIU" or "Staff of LIU" accordingly.
3) Make sure your browsers are up to date. We recommend that FireFox be used when accessing library electronic resources remotely. Remember to clear cookies, browsing history/browsing data regularly. You may need to refresh your browsing window or restart your browsing session or computer from time to time, particularly after login errors.
4) Contact the Circulation department by emailing bkln-libcirc@liu.edu with your name and ID# to verify that your library account is in good standing.
